Founded in 1940, A&M has been a legacy business that has provided flooring for up to five generations of families in the Central Valley. Born and raised in Selma, California, I grew up playing sports with my two brothers which taught me to be competitive from an early age. After high school I received a scholarship to play football for the University of Kansas Jayhawks. Playing sports taught me to be a team player, set goals, be disciplined, and work hard to achieve success. In 1990 I was hired to work for A&M Flooring in the sales department. I worked with Residential homeowners, designers, home builders and commercial jobs with their flooring needs. I enjoy helping customers select jobs with their flooring needs. I enjoy helping customers select the proper flooring that works with their lifestyle and style of home making sure everything comes together to enhance the entire space. I always want to listen to my customers’ needs and make sure they’re comfortable with the entire process, that is important to me. The biggest joy is to see how happy my customers are with the finished product and see what we do as a company to make their home look new again. Building relationships and serving my customers over the years is my #1 goal every day. I have made some lifelong friends over the last 30 years. Jose-Valdovinos | A & M Flooring And Design

Jose has over 24 years of flooring experience, working at A&M Flooring since 2004. Having started in the flooring industry in 1996, Jose was owner and operator of Royal Restoration, a fire and water damage restoration facility. They specialize in the restoration of homes with fire, water or smoke damage. They offered a variety of services that include carpet and upholstery cleaning, orinetal rug washing, rug repair and tile cleaning and mold remediation. Jose also worked for Sears as a Field sales trainer in the flooring department at the San Francisco Office responsible for covering assigned pre-set sales appointments during scheduled appointment time frames. This included a full in-home product presentation to the consumer, utilizing the complete Ten Step Selling Plan in order to achieve required sit ratios and conversion percentages. Through a "Ride-Along" process demonstrate and train new Sales Representatives in effective sales methods that meet Sears procedures.
